Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin writes his next masterpiece, which has the name "Along the Sea." In this picture, he maximally reveals the beauty of the forest, which is spread over the expanses of the earth and borders on the coastline of a sandy beach, directly in front of the sea. The panorama itself, shows all this beauty from the side of the hill, which is only slightly inscribed by the artist, in the foreground of the canvas.
In this picture, as in many similar works, the artist sincerely admires the immense view that appears before his gaze, precisely because of this, he transfers all that he sees most reliably to the canvas. As far as we can see, the entire left part of the picture is completely provided by the master, under the exciting sea, which so elegantly splashes on the shore. The shore, in turn, is removed into the distance, away beyond the horizon.
The artist tries to maximize the combination in one picture, the imperturbable beauty of the forest, and the unwavering ability of the sea elements. It is worth noting that this work was done by a master oil on cardboard. It is simply amazing how subtly nature is conveyed, if you look closely, you can notice how a cloud rose over the forest, which covered half of the forest. This is evident thanks to the shadow, which is noticeably different from the general background.
The difference between the sea and the forest is perfectly emphasized by two colors that are so different in tone, in the case of the forest, warm green is chosen, while the sea is cold blue. In this case, something like a dividing strip is a yellow, sandy shore. In general, the master managed to convey not only the mood of the picture, but also to embody his own emotional state in the canvas, while painting. The light blue sky, especially emphasizes this whole plot and the general idea.
